Reflection on my Month of New

So in September I began a daily half hour mindfulness meditation. In October I did something new or different each day. As October drew to a close I started to reflect on what I want to do in November. My boyfriend asked me what my favourite new thing that I tried was. He suggested I pick my favourite thing and continue to do that in November. So I started to reflect on what was my favourite new thing and I realized what I really enjoyed most was that this experience had me be more spontaneous and to say yes to doing things I might not normally do.

So my commitment for November is to say yes to five things that I might normally say no to. This a less structured commitment which I think will be good for me because what I learned most in October was that being spontaneous and creative was the best part of the whole experience.
