Simply Grateful

Yesterday I had a wonderful hour with my coach that ended with a few commitments about gratitude. It was only later that I remembered it was Thanksgiving weekend (for those of us in Canada that is).

So I decided to start this morning with a random list of things I am grateful for in this moment:

Love – the past two weeks I have been reminded in so many wonderful ways how much love is present in my life

Family – my partner who brings out the best in me and makes me laugh out loud – my parents who are healthy, happy and spending much of their retirement travelling and experiencing new things – my sister and her partner who inspire me with their love for each other and living life to the fullest

Laughter – it fills my home so often and when I experience a full belly laugh I remember that this is what life is all about

Friends – my friends are people who want the best for themselves and for others and they are people I can truly be myself with

My coach – she reminds me to play full out and to live my life JOYfully

Meditation – taking 15 minutes to focus on my breathing and positive energy

Nia – for encouraging me to dance and reminding me not worry about getting it right (or left)

Pilates – for keeping my core strong and my back healthy

These are a few of the things I am grateful for. What’s on your list?
